Effects of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Inoculation on Rhizosphere Microbiome Assembly and Plant Responses in Field-Grown Butterhead Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. cv. Nicolina)

This Project contains raw amplicon sequencing data (16S rRNA gene V3-V4 and ITS regions) generated from rhizosphere and bulk soil samples collected from field-grown Butterhead Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. cv. Nicolina) under mycorrhizal treated(NiS), not-treated(NiK) and inoculated with sterilized AM inoculum(NiX) in Hungary. Samples were collected before harvesting. The study aims to characterize bacterial and fungal community composition associated with different treatments together with plant responses. Bulk soil samples were collected from vegetation-free inter-row strips serving as baseline soil controls. Sequencing was performed using the Illumina NextSeq 2000 platform with paired-end reads.
