资源简介:
This dataset presents the physico-chemical analysis of 19 soil samples, from 6 rice-growing sites in western Burkina Faso (Hauts-Bassins and Cascades). The six sites are located in the 3 geographical zones, all in Lixisols (soils with subsurface accumulation of low activity clays and high base saturation) according to the Harmonized Word Soil Database (HWSD) map (FAO/IIASA/ISRIC/ISSCAS/JRC 2012). Within each geographical zone, 2 sites were sampled: one irrigated area and a neighbouring rainfed lowland site (see also Barro, et al 2021, "Spatiotemporal survey of major rice diseases in western Burkina Faso", https://doi.org/10.23708/8FDWIE). Within in each of the 19 sampled rice fields, soil sampling was performed in 3 locations, using a 10cm depth auger. Back from the field, sampled soil was kept dried in the shade at room temperature. Soil analyses were performed by INERA/GRN service, according to classical methodology (see the provided documentation for more details).
