These datasets contain recordings of neuronal activity and vascular changes, obtained using widefield optical imaging and two-photon microscopy, following single whisker stimulations in the mouse barrel cortex (vS1). The widefield dataset contains traces and metadata for changes in neuronal Ca<sup>2+</sup> activity, changes in oxy-, deoxy- and total hemoglobin concentration (Δ[HbO], Δ[HbR], Δ[HbT] respectively). The two-photon dataset contains traces and metadata for changes in arterioles and capillary diameter, changes in red blood cell velocity and flow, as well as neuronal Ca<sup>2+</sup> activity. Mice were either awake or under dexmedetomidine sedation. See Martineau et al (2024) for more details on the experimental design and methods.
