LncRNA ASH1L-AS1 Encodes the Microprotein APPLE to Drive HCC Tumorigenesis

RNA sequencing of HepG2 was performed to explore the molecular basis of microprotein APPLE encoded by LncRNA ASH1L-AS1 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In order to overexpress microprotein APPLE in HepG2, we constructed the overexpression plasmid containing open reading frame (ORF) of LncRNA ASH1L-AS1. 6 transcriptomes including 3 negative control (NC) groups and 3 ORF-Flag groups. In the NC groups, HepG2 was transfected with vector plasmids, and ORF-Flag (with Flag‐tag fusion) overexpreesion plasmids was transfected into HepG2 in ORF-Flag groups.
