This series consists of the master reference set of numbered documents laid before the University Council during the years 1973-1989 inclusive. The types of document represented include reports from the Academic Senate, sub-committees and other bodies reporting to Council; significant items of correspondence; government documents having some bearing on the University's operations; planning documents, proposals and illustrative material intended to assist Council in its deliberations. The numbering of these documents is consecutive within each individual year, beginning anew with the first Council meeting of each year.
