To understand the effects of aging on glioblastoma (GBM) immune microenvironment, differential gene expression of extra-tumral brain tissues between young and old mice were investigated by sc-RNASeq in this study. C57BL/6 mice at the age of 8 weeks old and 93 weeks old were intracranially engrafted with either 1x10^3 CT2A-GFP-luc murine GBM cells or 1xPBS as sham control. Two weeks after tumor cell implantation, brain tissues from the non-tumor injection hemisphere (contralateral) were isolated and single cells were prepared using the Adult Brain Dissociation kit (Miltenyi Biotec) and subjected to sc-RNASeq.
