Five 1000 Genomes DNA samples are being sequenced repeatedly as quality control standards in the NHLBI Translational Opportunities for Precision Medicine (TOPMed) whole genome sequencing program. The repeated sequencing will accumulate extremely deep coverage for these particular samples and these data may be of use outside the TOPMed project. The five DNA samples are (CEU) NA12878 (DNA lot K6), (YRI) NA19238 (DNA lot E2), (PUR) HG01110, (PUR) HG01111, (PUR) HG01249. The three PUR samples belong to trio family PR34 and are sequenced from blood DNA. The sequencing is (with a few exceptions) 30 x coverage whole genome sequencing using Illumina X-Ten instruments.
