Vehicle state data, Under-ice sonar derived ice thickness, and light transmittance data from Under-Ice Micro AUV Engineering trials during the Microshift Expedition 2025

This dataset provides raw data from microAUV engineering Trials consisting of 5 dives underneath sea ice. Goal of this campaign was to operate the micro AUV (ecoSub micro) underneath the ice and to figure out operational concepts. The vehicle was equipped with a scanning sonar (Impact Subsea, ISS360) and a simple light logger (Hobo 2205). The dataset includes Matlab code used to process the data (mostly generated using ChatGPT) and the generated output plots. Data is archived as is. No quality control has been run on the scientific dataset of ice draft and light intensity, Hence data should if at all only be used after consultation with the author.
