资源简介:
The purpose of the survey was to analyse the Danes' reactions, their attitudes, values and expectations on the basis of an interview survey for which data were collected in March, in May and in June (shortly after the referendum). # In March information was collected from a minor but representative sample of the population of approx. 500 persons. What did the Danes think that the referendum was about; what was their voting intention; how sure were they of how they would vote; and what kind of information would they like to get before they voted? # In May, after Radio Denmark had broadcast a major series of informative programmes entitled 'Spør' om EF' (Ask about he EC) - a series which was based on questions sent to the channel upon repeated requests on TV - approx. 1000 persons were interviewed, again a sample which was representative of the total adult population. The May survey included questions which had been asked previously in election surveys as well as a large number of questions which had not been asked earlier but which were asked for a more specific mapping out of people's attitudes to the planned European integration. # In addition to the data collection in May a similar data collection took place in June, shortly after the referendum. At this time the Danes knew what they had done, at least they knew how they had voted - if they had voted. The June survey was a so-called panel survey, which meant re-interviews with the persons who had been interviewed in May. This type of survey gives optimum possibilities of mapping out changes in people's understanding of what the referendum was about and also changes in their knowledge and attitudes, which, altogether, gives the best opportunities of analysing what the Danes did and why they did it
