The effect of guanidinoacetic acid on the occurrence of ascites and performance in broilers

The research was based on evaluating the effect of feeding broilers different levels of guanidinoacetic acid and how it will improve production and prevent ascites. The production parameters (growth, feed intake, and feed efficiency) were measured weekly on a pen basis, whereas the effect on ascites was expected to be seen in the heart rate and blood pressure measured on day 32. One male and one female bird were used to measure these parameters.
