资源简介:
The study aims to explore the impact of taurine - conjugated cholic acid (TCA) on the in - vivo transcriptional profile of M2 macrophages in vitro. Given that hepatic accumulation of bile acids is central to cholestasis - induced liver injury and TCA is an important cytotoxic bile acid, understanding its effect on M2 macrophages is crucial. M2 macrophages play a significant role in the fibrotic process in liver diseases like primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). By investigating how TCA affects their transcriptional status in vitro, we can gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying liver fibrosis and potentially identify new therapeutic targets. This research is relevant as it may contribute to the development of strategies to modulate macrophage function and alleviate liver injury associated with bile acid imbalance.
