Long noncoding RNA ZEB1-AS1 affects chemoresistance in epithelial ovarian cancer cells

LncRNA ZEB1-AS1 is upregulated in many cancers, functions as an oncogene and is an unfavorable prognostic indicator. However, we found that ZEB1-AS1 was expressed at low levels in chemoresistance epithelial ovarian cancer cell A2780/resistant(A2780/R) compared with A2780.Qantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) and western blot results suggested that ZEB1-AS1 did not affect the ZEB1 expression in A2780 and A2780/R cells.To determine the potential mechanism of ZEB1-AS1, RNA-seq was performed on control and ZEB1-AS1 knockdown A2780 cells.
