This spatial distribution dataset of multi-year average maximum temperature over China's terrestrial areas was generated through calculations based on meteorological data spatialization methodologies, leveraging GIS, computer and spatial database technologies. It was developed using observational data from 740 meteorological stations across China spanning the period from 1971 to 2000. The raster data has a spatial resolution of 1 km × 1 km, and includes monthly average maximum temperature data for each month from January to December after multi-year averaging. The spatial reference system of the dataset is GSC_CLARK_1866, with the data unit being 0.1 degrees Celsius.
