BioBasis Nuuk - Microarthropods - Microarthropod

Soil samples are collected with a soil corer from which the organisms are extracted in a heat extractor by gradually heating up. Samples are taken from permanent plots 3 times during the snow free season. Microorganisms are indentified and counted by specialists in Denmark.
