Transcription of workshop with Norwegian fishers and industry representatives

EVERYFISH will develop, test, and promote a suite of innovative technological solutions for fully automated catch recording and reporting for use on board European fishing vessels, and develop innovative governance strategies that make use of the automatically reported catch data. To identify challenges related to implementation of new technological solutions for compliance purposes within the fishing industry and to create a multidisciplinary network to debate and assess implementation and integration of technology into compliance strategies, we conducted a workshop with fishers and representatives from fishers' interest organisations and sales organisations in Norway in 2023. This will help us create best-practice management guidelines for a compliance-by-design architecture based on technological solutions. The dataset is an anonymised textual transcription of the workshop.
