NOAA NOMADS (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Operational Model Archive and Distribution System) is a model archiving and distribution system operated by the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) under the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This database provides global, regional and climate model data, including a variety of meteorological datasets such as weather forecasts, ocean models, sea ice analyses and space weather resources. All data are distributed in GRIB format and support multiple access protocols, enabling researchers and the general public to obtain meteorological model data.
