Come sulla linea del tempo. Per la didattica della storia locale attraverso le pagine de L'Idomeneo (2009-2018)

Twenty years ago the first issue of "The Idomeneo" – the official journal of the Leccese section of Società di Storia Patria per la Puglia – was published (2009-2018). In these years the magazine succeeded in reaching a leading position among the specialised pubblications at national level. But the most important value is that it has never lost its "salentinità" offering not just the academic researchers the possilbility to spread important results of study about the local identity through the contribution of macro-history. Therefore, as on the time line it is necessary to insert the general events, to define a unitary and linear path, so it is important to explain facts and people that in a limited geographical space have stressed identities and contexts to understand historical events. This article wants to bring out this purpose and find among the events of history a significant contact, on our ideal timeline, with facts and people from Salento, in a simple teaching practice, so that the micro-history can be learned at school and deepened by Academia.
