NDRG2 knockdown in primary rat astrocytes under Oxygen-Glucose Deprivation Conditions

Astrocytic NDRG2 is upregulated during reactive astrocyte formation following cerebral ischemia. However, its regulation and function are unclear. To study the function of NDRG2 in astrocytes, we comprehensively profiled the transcriptomic features of NDRG2 silencing in astrocytes after 8 h of OGD conditions as well as exogenous lactate treatment by performing RNA-seq. The results indicate that NDRG2 silencing may have a meaningful impact on neuroinflammatory reactions in the progression of ischemic stroke.
