This study aims to explore how Chlamydia trachomatis regulates mitochondrial and microtubule dynamics through the LONP1 protein, ultimately promoting homotypic inclusion fusion. A range of techniques, including Western blot (WB), immunofluorescence staining, PCR, electron microscopy, and calcium ion live-cell probes, were employed to systematically analyze the role of LONP1 in modulating cellular structure and function during Chlamydia trachomatis infection.
