This dataset provides samples of nonlinear time-history analyses of 10 archetype-building models with random parameters, representing different design configurations, exposed to a set of recorded ground motions. The ground motions are selected to uniformly populate a specified intensity measure (IM) domain. The archetype buildings consist of 2, 3, 5, 8, and 10-story Steel and Concrete moment resisting frame (MRF) buildings, and they are formulated as reduced order models (ROM), i.e., parsimonious models, utilizing the shear-structure lumped-mass representation. The provided response samples are peak inter-story drift and absolute acceleration engineering demand parameters (EDPs) at each floor. The dataset corresponds to samples for the EDPs for different structural parameters and ground motions and, therefore, captures both structural model variability and ground motion variability. A total of 3,800 ground motions are selected from the PEER NGA West 2 database such that the domain of interest for a representative IM vector is populated as uniformly as possible. As IMs for defining this vector, the spectral acceleration at 0.2s, 1s, and 2.5s (with 5% damping), as well as the significant duration, are selected, yielding a four-dimensional IM vector.
