Data for model developed during project RAISE and described in paper Partial Discharges in Electrical Machines for the More Electric Aircraft—Part I: A Comprehensive Modeling Tool for the Characterization of Electric Drives Based on Fast Switching Semiconductors, DOI:10.1109/ACCESS.2021.3058083, link: https://zenodo.org/record/4562178#.YJAdS7Uzbd4 The model is able to assess the voltage gradients and the magnitudes observed in insulation systems for typical converter – cabling – machine systems. The model also analyses the voltage distribution within a typical electrical machine, and its dependence on geometrical, physical and mechanical machine parameters.
