Data description: This dataset contains independent field measurements of forest structure used for validating individual-tree and stand growth models in Fujian Province, China. The data focus on two dominant species: Masson pine (Pinus massoniana) and Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata). A total of 814 observations were compiled from published literature. For each observation, the dataset provides the following information: Unique identifier (ID) Province Study site Latitude and Longitude of the plot Stand age (Age, years) Mean Diameter at Breast Height (DBH, cm) Mean tree height (Height, m) Tree species Reference The dataset is provided in Excel (.xlsx) format. It serves as an independent reference for parameter calibration and validation of stand-level forest growth models, particularly for studies on tree growth, stand development, and productivity assessment.
