Survei angkatan kerja nasional (Sakernas)

The National Labor Force Survey aims to obtain characteristics of employment, unemployment, underemployment, and of working age population not in the labor force who are in schools, doing housekeeping, others, excludes personal activity. The total labor force comprises all persons 15 years of age and over who are working, temporarily absent from work but having jobs (which are categorized as employed), and those who do not have work and are looking for work. SAKERNAS is aimed to gather information that meet three objectives: Employment by education, working hours, industrial classification and employment statusUnemployment by different characteristics and efforts on looking for workWorking age population not in the labor force (e.g. attending schools, doing housekeeping and others). The survey is conducted semi-annually in February and August.
