MODIS is an important sensor aboard the Terra and Aqua satellites. It is the only on-board satellite instrument that directly broadcasts real-time observation data to the entire world via the X-band, enabling free reception and unrestricted, royalty-free use of the collected data. MOD05 is an atmospheric Level 2 standard data product focused on precipitable water products. It has a spatial resolution of 1 kilometer under Lambert projection and 30 arc-seconds in geographic coordinates, and all daily datasets of MOD05 are Level 2 data products.
