The <span style="font-style: italic;">Northern Ireland General Election Survey, 2019</span> investigates how the Northern Ireland electorate voted (or didn’t vote) at the 2019 General Election and the reasons behind their voting choices. The study examines the basis of party choice, attitudes to political institutions, views on Brexit and a range of other political issues in Northern Ireland. The study is based upon a representative sample of 2,003 Northern Ireland electors, conducted face-to-face in the two months following the General Election (12 December 2019). <br><br>The study builds on a series of post general elections surveys conducted in Northern Ireland; on a similar survey from 2010, the <span style="font-style: italic;">Northern Ireland General Election Attitudes Surveys, 2010</span> (held under SN 6553), on the <span style="font-style: italic;">Northern Ireland General Election Survey, 2015</span> (held under SN 7523), and on the <span style="font-style: italic;">Northern Ireland General Election Survey, 2017</span> (held under SN 8234). <br><br>Further information about this research can be found on its <a href="http://UKRI Gateway to Research" target="_blank">UKRI Gateway to Research</a> webpage.&nbsp;
