Oil production in Brazil 2008-2023

Oil production in Brazil has been on a mostly upward trend for over a decade, reaching over 3.5 million barrels per day in 2023. This represents an increase of over 12.4 percent in comparison to 2022. Petrobras, the national oil corporation, is by far the leading crude oil producer in Brazil, accounting for more than 90 percent of the national output.
