The objective of this large-scale study is to provide the susceptibility patterns of 1,671 diverse Listeria monocytogenes (Lm) isolates recovered from 13 countries and two continents to food industry disinfectants (quaternary ammonium compounds and peracetic acid). Genomic characterisation, including phylogenetic analysis, sub-typing, screening for genes associated with resistance to disinfectants and other environmental stressors, and plasmid characterisation were also carried out.
