<b>The potential regulatory role of the ncRNAs regulating the exogenous estrogen-induced feminization in </b><b><i>Takifugu rubripes</i></b><b> gonad</b>

Estrogen plays a pivotal role in the early stage of sex differentiation in teleost. Environmental factors and endocrine disruptors seriously endanger teleost gonadal differentiation by interfering estrogen and estrogen signaling pathway.These findings suggested that the expression of critical genes in sex differentiation<i> </i>were altered in male individuals by E₂ may via the lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA network to facilitate the differentiation and maintenance of ovaries. Our results provide a new insight into the comprehensive understanding of the effects of exposure to environmental factors that can interfere with estrogen signaling pathways on sex differentiation and reproduction in male gonads.
