资源简介:
We conducted mooring observations with acoustic Doppler current profilers (ADCPs) and conductivity-temperature (CT) recorders off Cape Darnley, Antarctica throughout winter. Three moorings were deployed across the Wild Canyon (W1: bottom depth 183 m) and the shelf edge (a2: bottom depth 270 m). Each mooring was equipped with an downward-looking acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP: RD Instruments Workhorse Sentinel 300 kHz), Aquadopp current meters (Nortech), and conductivity-temperature (CT) or conductivity-temperature-pressure (CTP) recorders (SeaBird SBE-37 MicroCAT), thermistor, dissolved oxygen meter (Infinity-Rinko ARO-USB; JFE Advantech), pH-meter (JAMSTEC and Kimoto), sediment traps (SMD26S-6000; NiGK Ocean), RAS(Remote Access Sampler; RAS-500; McLane), and acoustic releasers (Benthos, and Kaiyo-denshi). The pre-deployment calibration demonstrated a temperature accuracy of 2 mK and a salinity accuracy of 4 x 10-3. The instrument depths were calculated from the pressure by the CTP-recorders with an assumption that the mooring line was straight. The three moorings were deployed from W1, W3, to W2 on 1 February, 2019 (4:00-10:00 UTC) by Hakuho-maru cruise (KH-19-1) and were successfully recovered on 2 February 2020 (10:30-20:30 UTC) by Hakuho-maru cruise (KH-20-1).
