资源简介:
Oncostatin M (OSM) is a member of the interleukin (IL)-6 family and was isolated originally based on its inhibitory activity of tumor cell growth. Subsequent studies revealed its various biological activities in many conditions such as inflammation and tissue regeneration, but it remains elusive on its precise role in skin wound healing. Hence, we examined the pathophysiological roles of OSM-OSM receptor beta (OSMRB) axis in the skin wound healing process utilizing wild-type (WT) and Osmrb-/- mice. After 6 days excisional wound injury, we collected RNA samples from each skin regions and performed bulk RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis both in WT and osmrb-/-mice. To validate the results obtained from in an in vivo study, RNA-seq analysis in OSM-stimulated a murine fibroblastic cell line, NIH3T3 was performed.
