京杭大运河是世界上里程最长、工程最大的古代运河之一,全长约1794公里,南起杭州,北到北京,途经浙江、江苏、山东、河北四省及天津、北京两市,连接海河、黄河、淮河、长江、钱塘江五大水系。京杭大运河沿线土地利用遥感数据集涵盖了4省2市运河两岸2公里缓冲区内的2005年土地利用现状矢量数据。 京杭大运河沿线土地利用遥感数据集全面展示了1700公里运河沿线不同分段核心监控区内土地利用现状矢量数据,有助于分析沿线城市土地利用、社会经济发展等,为优化运河文化遗产保护规划、制定科学合理的保护策略以及促进区域协调发展提供数据支撑和科学依据。

The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is one of the longest and most massive ancient canals in the world, with a total length of approximately 1,794 kilometers. Stretching from Hangzhou in the south to Beijing in the north, it passes through four provinces (Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Hebei) and two municipalities directly under the Central Government (Tianjin and Beijing), and connects five major river systems: the Haihe River, Yellow River, Huaihe River, Yangtze River, and Qiantang River. The Remote Sensing Land Use Dataset Along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal covers the vector data of current land use status in 2005 within the 2-kilometer buffer zone on both sides of the canal across the four provinces and two municipalities. This dataset comprehensively presents the vector data of current land use status in the core monitoring zones of different sections along the 1,700-kilometer canal corridor. It facilitates the analysis of urban land use, socio-economic development and other relevant aspects along the canal, and provides data support and scientific basis for optimizing the protection planning of canal cultural heritage, formulating scientific and reasonable protection strategies, and promoting coordinated regional development.
