FER+

This dataset, named FERPlus, is an extended version of the FER2013 dataset, containing images corresponding to 8 basic emotions including contempt. It consists of 28,709 training images, 3,589 validation images, and an additional 3,589 test images. With 10 independent annotators involved, the label quality of this dataset is particularly excellent. For performance reporting, majority voting is adopted for the dataset due to the use of multiple annotators. In terms of scale, the training set contains 28,709 images, while the validation and test sets each contain 3,589 images. The task of this dataset is facial expression recognition.
