Images from Field Observation at Old Gang Lead Smelting Mill, Mill Gill, Swaledale, North Yorkshire 2022

This collection comprises images taken during field observation by Ed Dennison Archaeological Services Ltd between March and May 2022 at the Old Gang Lead smelting mill, Mill Gill, Swaledale, North Yorkshire. Archaeological monitoring was undertaken during erosion repairs to Mill Gill as it passed through the area of the lead smelt mill complex. Nothing of archaeological significance was observed, except some remains of former attempts to control alignment of stream as it passed through the smelt mill complex.
