How to win a dog-fight

Flying wing aircraft like the B-2, X-48B, and JetZero offer a sleek, efficient design but come with a serious challenge: they’re inherently unstable. Without a tail or rudder, even a small fault can send them off course. My research develops a fault-tolerant control system that uses thrust vectoring to steer the aircraft using engine direction, instead of traditional control surfaces. I also integrate AI-based fault detection, allowing the system to recognize problems early and respond instantly using an adaptive hybrid controller. The goal? Smarter, safer, and more resilient aircraft that can recover in real time even when something goes wrong.
