Global City-Year PM₂.₅ Exposure Panel and Reproducible Accounting Pipeline (2000–2021)

This repository contains Version 1 of the Global City-Year PM₂.₅ Exposure Panel and the reproducible computational pipeline used to generate exposure-linked indicators reported in the associated manuscript. The dataset includes annual satellite-derived PM₂.₅ exposure estimates for 26 purposively selected cities over 2000–2021, along with population and economic proxy inputs used for downstream accounting exercises. Exposure estimates were derived using a standardized centroid-buffer extraction approach and are intended to support methodological transparency, reproducibility, and structural sensitivity analysis rather than causal inference or validated burden estimation. The repository includes cleaned data tables, code used for exposure extraction and accounting calculations, and documentation sufficient to reproduce all reported figures, tables, and supplementary materials.
