Gene expression profile of thioglycollate-elicited peritoneal macrophages (TEMPs) in WT and HIF-1a KO mices under hypoxic condition.. Mus strain:BL6

The purpose of this study is to identify the hypoxia-stimulated secretion factors in mouse macrophages. Thioglycollate-elicited peritoneal macrophages (TEMPs) were collected from the peritoneal cavity 4 days after the intraperitoneal injection of 3% thioglycollate solution in hematopoietic/endothelial-specific HIF-1a Knock outmice or cre negative littermate controls. TEPMs were exposed to hypoxia (1% O2) or normoxia and collected total RNA at 0h, 4h and 12h time points. Total RNA was isolated using RNeasy kit (QIAGEN) and RNA sequencing perfomed on illumina Genome Analyzer IIx (GAIIx) platform for analysis of differentially expressed transcriptome in hematopoietic/endothelial-specific HIF-1a Knock out mice or cre negative littermate control.
