The following trees of the GAPDH family allow for a quick comparative analysis between the raw re-assembled transcriptomes on one side and the de-contaminated and consolidated transcriptomes on the other side. They show that the strategy described here resulted in much less redundant and much cleaner sequence data while preserving most of the taxonomic and phylogenetic signals.
