Commission and School Board Districts

This polygon layer defines the five single-member electoral districts used for both the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners and the Flagler County School Board. Each polygon represents one district and stores the names of the currently serving commissioner and school board member for that area. The layer covers the full extent of Flagler County and is the authoritative GIS boundary dataset for electoral district lookups, public-facing maps, and web applications. Attributes include: district number (DIST_ID), current county commissioner name (Commission), current school board member name (School_B), and GIS-calculated area and perimeter. Use cases: Electoral district lookups, constituent services routing, public web maps, and redistricting reference. Maintenance: The Commission and School_B fields should be updated following each general election or mid-term appointment. District boundary polygons reflect the official redistricting map adopted by the Board of County Commissioners and are subject to revision following each decennial U.S. Census.
