Total muon momentum distribution at the copper stopping target in the MuSIC beam line. Muons are degraded with a variety of different thickness aluminium plates (indicated by colour) before passing through two counters that sandwich the copper stopping target at which this distribution is taken. Simulated using Geant4 based on the 5th MuSIC beam time.
