In order to discover genes regulated by MpKAN, we performed RNA-seq on WT (1x male and 1x female) and Mpkan (1x male and 1x female) thalli, grown for either 15d under white light (WL) or 10d under WL followed by 5d FR-enriched white light (FR). Additionally, we performed RNA-seq on WT and proMpEF1:MpKAN-GR plants grown for 15d WL followed by either (1) 0h mock (2) 3h 10uM DEX or (3) 24h 10uM DEX treatments. Three replicates were used for each independent line and treatment.
