A study was made to identify the Bacterial and fungal communities associated with infected and healthy wood samples of Aquilaria malaccensis. The endobacterial and endofungal communities from wood of Aquilaria malaccensis were identified and compared in order to identify the endophytes involved in production of agarwood in Aquilaria malaccensis by sequencing the V3 and ITS2 region respectively.
