Replication Data for Commuter Mobility Rate Model Simulations, 2018–2023

This dataset contains the replication data used for commuter mobility rate model simulations for 675 Swedish regional units over the period 2018–2023. The deposited data package includes the dependent variable, commuter mobility rate, and ten explanatory variables used in the model simulations. The explanatory variables were constructed from publicly available data from Statistics Sweden. The main file, commuter_mobility_panel_2018_2023.csv, is provided in long panel format with one row per region-year. The dataset includes region identifiers, region names, municipality names, county codes, municipality codes, year, the dependent variable, and the ten explanatory variables. The original variables were stored as separate wide-format Excel files. The deposited package also includes these raw wide-format files for transparency, together with a shapefile for the 675 regional units and a codebook describing the variables.
