This archive contains the numerical model input files that were used to generate model simulations presented in "Development of a next-generation general ocean circulation model for the Great Lakes. The information provided in this archive is taken from https://regional-mom6.readthedocs.io/en/latest/mom6-file-structure-primer.html#run-directory Modular Ocean Model version 6.0, MOM6, organizes files in two directories: a run directory and an input directory. This study tested two vertical coordinate systems (VCSs), zstar and hybrid. The required files for these two directories, for zstar and hybrid VCSs, are shown in run_zstar.tar, run_hybrid.tar, input_zstar.tar, and input_hybrid.tar files.
