Taurine Upregulated Gene 1 (TUG1) is known to be an oncogenic lncRNA. TUG1 is upregulated in several cancers and has a function such as a tumor progression, migration, and invasion. In addition, a recent study indicated that TUG1 plays an important role in chemoresistance in several cancers. We found that inhibition of TUG1 suppressed tumor progression and enhanced 5-FU sensitivity. Furthermore, TUG1 was identified as a cytoplasm enriched lncRNA. To identify target miRNA of TUG1, we analyzed miRNA expression change by using SurePrint G3 Human miRNA 8x60K Microarray (Agilent Technologies)
