Selected personality data from the SAPA-Project: 04Apr2006 to 18Aug2010

These data were collected to evaluate the structure of personality constructs in the temperament domain. In the context of modern personality theory, these constructs are typically construed in terms of the Big Five (Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, Neuroticism, Openness, and Extraversion). Approximately 114,000 individuals were randomly administered blocks of items from the International Personality Item Pool Big Five Factor Markers between April 4, 2006 and August 18, 2010. Participants were additionally asked to optionally provide responses on a range of demographic variables. The data are available in rdata format and are accompanied by documentation stored as a text file. Re-use potential include many types of structural and correlational analyses of personality.
