Mouse CoNV Assay.

A) Adult Myd88−/− (KO) and littermate Myd88+/+ (WT) mice (N = 7 to 8 animals/group) were subjected to corneal abrasion on Day 0. On Day 21 post-abrasion animals were euthanized and CoNV area (+/− SEM) was measured by fluorescence microscopy, as described in Materials and Methods. Statistical analysis was performed using two-way ANOVA. Within each genotype, the abraded group was significantly different from the naïve group (p<0.0001). However, comparison between the two genotypes showed no significant effect of the Myd88 deficiency on CoNV area in response to abrasion. B) Representative images of the 4 groups shown in Figure 6A.
