Codes and data of the paper How can the optical variation properties of active galactic nuclei be unbiasedly measured. The structure of this repository is as follows: DRW_library.py module for generating and fitting DRW light curves Suberlak_module.py module for generating and fitting DRW light curves(written by Suberlak, from his Github) sDRW.py code for reproducing Suberlak+21 result MCMC codes, data and figures of the Section 2 in our paper optimize data and codes for figures and results of Section 3.1-3.4 in our paper real Strategy codes, data, and figures for the results of Section 3.5 in our paper show code for plotting Figure 1 in our paper kDRW codes and data for reproducing Kozlowski17 result. supplement discussions about problems proposed by referees, including: celerite_posterior code for plotting the posterior of celerite method different_MC confirm different MCMC samplers have no effect on our results extra error add a noise term to the kernel function, and plot the result PRH_posterior codes and data for plotting the posterior of the PRH method Not all codes and data are included here because some programs are stored and performed on the server.
