Data from "How the synoptic-scale winds modulate the ecological impacts of mesoscale features? A case study based on the further south distribution of Pacific saury (Cololabis saira) in November 2016"

The Pacific saury exhibits autumn migration modulated by Kuroshio-Oyashio Extension (KOE) mesoscale features, yet daily fishing ground variability remain unexplained. Based on the further south distribution of Pacific saury in November 2016, the night-light fishing vessel data was used to reflect the distribution of Pacific saury, and M2 mooring data to investigate the subsurface biotic and abiotic condition. The Oyashio cold tongue and mesoscale anticyclonic eddies contributed to the further south distribution while synoptic-scale westerly winds contributed to the daily variation.
