资源简介:
Remoscope is a label-free imaging cytometer which was developed at the CZ Biohub SF and has been field-deployed in Tororo, Uganda to assess its efficacy at detecting Plasmodium falciparum parasites in whole human blood. Remoscope images blood without fixation or staining, i.e using a label-free imaging modality. This dataset comprises ~14TB of image data collected on Remoscope.
The image data consists of:
1. Clinical data from Tororo, Uganda. This includes data from healthy participants and participants with parasite loads varying from below 1 parasite/uL up to ~600,000 parasites/uL.
2. Cultured Plasmodium falciparum data (including a titration series, images of CQ treated parasites, and a life stage time course)
3. Known healthy donor samples from a non-endemic region
4. Synthetic images generated using combinations of thumbnails taken from the above three sets
Additionally, human annotation of cultured and clinical parasites were done to a train an object detection model. These annotation labels are provided as well (under the `labels` and `synthetic_data` folders). These labels follow YOLO-format. There are an additional set of identical labels under folders called `labels_plus` which have one additional column at the end, denoting whether the given label was machine-generated (using the result from the object detection model after it had been trained) or whether that label was human-verified.
