Development of species-specific qPCR and LAMP assays for detecting potato late blight pathogen of Phytophthora infestans

In 2016-2017, 9 Phytophthora infestans isolates were isolated from different potato production areas. Isolates of additional Phytophthora spp. and other pathogens obtained from China agriculture university collection were originally collected from Yunnan province in 2017. To oomycete、fungi and bacteria species re-identification, genomic DNA were amplified by primers ITS1 (5'-TCCGTAGGTGAACCTGCGG-3’) and ITS4 (5'-TCCTCCGCTTATTGATATGC-3’), 27F(5'-TCCGTAGGTGAACCTGCGG-3’) and 1492R(5'-TCCGTAGGTGAACCTGCGG-3’). The PCR products were sent to sequence using forward primer ITS1 or 27F. The sequence of each isolate were blast in NCBI databank and determined to species of 99 % similarity or above. These sequences also submitted to Gen-bank database now.
